Do you use RailLexic? I would mainly use it for French to German and was wondering if it is complete and easy to search. Are the 250 € or so worth it?

Hi Carolin,
Where did you find the price of € 250.00? Is 4.0 the latest version?
I saw an ad on the UIC website for the 4.0 CD ROm version: The price for a single-user CD-ROM is 290 Euro plus VAT and postage.

It is definitively useful if you regularly work in the sector.
I have to declare an interest as a member of the UIC Terminology Group but Raillexic is in effect the only source of industry terminology and used by all the specialists. The UIC committees which prepare the technical material from which the dictionary takes its terminology always have native French and native German speakers so you can be certain that the translations are sound.
