: Can you give reference? The term was not found in Gray's Anatomy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_subjects_in_Gray's_Anatomy:_Alphabetical:_C; see my answer showing link also derived from Gray's. I just wanted to give English name for it.

common bile duct (scientific name = choledochus)
both translations are valid but the common name of the organ has the higher possibility for sure.
