DVX Standard, yes I didn't upgrade and no I don't regret it (yet).
I have just got a pptx in which almost all the text is unaccessible. This turns out to be because it is "hidden" behind a document mask that covers all the successive slides.
Clicking on "display" -> "slide master view" in PPT renders the text accessible.
For now, my kludge is to deformat the PPT and produce a texte file using some other software, but I'm not sure I've got all the text. ... See more
