Just in case anyone else comes across this issue, it sounds fairly typical of what happens when you lose the CAL licence provided by the server (often just caused by a minor connection hiccup, the server being busy etc.). memoQ normally catches it and gives you a warning, but sometimes you can lose the licence silently, without any indication except for the problems you described (being unable to edit segments, look up TM/TB results etc.).

One direct way to fix this is to re-request the CAL licence manually by clicking on the blue memoQ button in the top-left, clicking Activation, and then on the CAL tab in the new window, where there should be a button offering to request a licence. You may still need to close and reopen any documents so memoQ recognises the new licence. If the option isn't there and it still claims your licence is valid, closing the project outright and reopening it should be enough to get a new one ▲ Collapse
