It is about a year ago that I tried one of the tests, and I seem to remember that it was timed. I am in doubt if the tests are worth the money, though, because you have to take new tests for each new version of Studio. I am not sure if they will gain you more jobs than without the sertificates.

Hi All,
Of course as I work for SDL you may expect my following answer. Some clients may indeed prefer SDL certified users- However I think the certification courses are MORE important from a PERSONAL perspective- By following and completing the certification and exam- you can be 100% sure you have a far greater in depth knowledge and understanding of the program/functionality than someone who is only able to use the most basic features? I would even go as far and suggest that the more you understand any given software program- the quicker and more efficient you are able to work.
