Arabic to English Medical Medical (general)

The parents had noticed a bluish mass in the right supraclavicular region, which increases on crying or activity. Investigations showed this to be a vascular malformation, with a predominant venous component. I advised them to wait for some time to let the child grow, and then we can reassess the malformation and decide whether it needs embolization.
The child again was brought on the 16th of January 2020, and the parents were concerned that the malformation has grown in size.
A CT scan defined the anatomy and showed a bi-lobulated venous outpouching from the right external jugular vein.
Surgical Details:
This was successfully embolized on the 04th of February 2020, under GA. We placed multiple pushable coils in the lobules of the malformation, from the transvenous approach as well as percutaneously.
Follow up has shown a slowly contracting coil mass, with occlusion of the venous malformation and continued flow in the underlying normal venous structures.
