When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

: عاملة منزلية is a more general term (domestic worker) - in a rich household a maid would be just one of many: the cook, cleaner, butler etc.//Agree w. dictionary definition of maid (of course!) but what I mean is that the Arabic term is wider than that.

Thanks Nesrin but Merriam Webster Dictionary defines it as (a girl or woman who is a servant employed to do housework) .. Cambridge Dictionary >(a woman servant whose job is to clean a particular usually large house and who often lives there).

Not sure I understand. The source text indicates that the passport/visa belongs to a lady. mmmm, why is "housekeeper" an offensive term?

: I'd say a housekeeper is one kind of عاملة منزلية, but you can imagine in a big (rich) household there could be several domestic workers, e.g a cook, a cleaner, a butler etc.
