They differ in speed of development, quality of support and price: omegaT is free, CafeTran is included in the Proz Plus package, that costs an extra 60 $/year when you're already a member (which you are), or €80 per year via www.cafetran.com, or €200,00 once). Wordfast Pro is €400, Fluency is $9.95/month ($119.40/year), Swordfish is $320.00. Regularly, there are promotions at Proz's Translator group buying http://www.proz.com/tgb .

Anaphraseus is an OpenOffice extension. Probably, the simplest CAT tool that one can imagine. | | | CafeTran Training (X) هولندا Local time: 09:39 Still being developed? | Jun 11, 2017 |

Anaphraseus is not actively developed but still works at least in LO 5.2.1.1 under Linux, thus, should work under MacOS too. | | | CafeTran Training (X) هولندا Local time: 09:39 Your choice? | Jun 14, 2017 |

Andrea I am in the same situation and I would be extremely curious to know what you went for. On my experience, I found that Memsource worked very well with Mac. However the licence belonged to the agency and now that I'm thinking of acquiring one for myself, I'd like to choose a reliable one, compatible with Mac and popular among agencies/clients. | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » The best and easiest CatTool for Mac users to start with?
