From personal experience, trauma for any accidental situation which might be the probability to have had a serious injury. For example when I went to see a doctor at the hospital about twisting my ankle, they considered it trauma and transferred me to the emergency room. (Even though I did not think it as emergency, and no one pushed me. It was simply an accident which resulted with a severe pain). It was considered trauma.
